Wednesday, February 01, 2006 ::: SORRY It's urology week which means the chance to revisit the underwater world of erupting volcanoes, coral reefs etc etc and the farming of fresh water shrimps, but this time we've also got lobsters. But this time there's something new - a meteor at the sea bed that got smashed by a machine gun. It came out in pieces. Key: Lobsters = larger fragments of prostate Shrimps = smaller fragments of prostate Meteor = stone in bladder And I'll say it again, to be able to pee without difficulty is such a blessing. New videos: Westlife - Amazing. The song itself is a fine tune, but the video itself is just too far from being amazing. If you want some good old westlife jingle you'll love this - finally they're releasing something that sounds like those from the 'I Lay My Love On You' era - in my opinion that's Westlife at their best. Cheesy but upbeat pop song with a tune to sing to that isn't a ballad at the same time. See the lads stroll around in this empty office building/car park all on their own, with flashing lights and flying office A4 papers (!!!) to that effect, then the guys meeting up at the entrance, with more flashing lights and some more crooning, you get the idea. Will Young - All Time Love Never been a fan of Will, but this song is one of the best ballads I've heard lately. Give it a listen. I've heard him perform this track live on Jo Wiley's show and he gave an amazing live performance. This original track doesn't disappoint too. Nevermind the previous rather dreadful Switch It On. Pink - Stupid Girls The video that everybody talks about. Pink's back, with a new video that mocks Paris Hilton etc etc, girls that she's callin 'Stupid'. I can't really stand Pink, because honestly I think she's the most disgusting of all female pop stars, but I've heard some album clips from her upcoming release 'I'm Not Dead' and I have to say Stupid Girls is not the best track. In fact when she's got Max Martin, Butch Walker etc etc the songs themselves can't really be bad. Goldfrapp - Ride On A White Horse Goldfrapp's been releasing some amazing stuff from their Supernature CD. Oh La La and Number 1 are both ace, ROAWH as the 3rd single is quite brilliant as well. This video is not as fun as the Number 1 one but is still a great watch. And to my surprise, there's no white horse in the video. OK Go - A Million Ways This video is so brilliant that it's simply a must see. Amazing dance routine, on one take! Thanks to chartsingles. It's a site I visit regularly for cool music vids. * Sorry, for not being smarter. Sorry, for being a smart ass sometimes. * Madge is going to open this year's Grammys!
